In nearly every case regular physical activity is an essential component of pain recovery. Depending on your individual circumstances this may be very gentle, low-impact movements. In many cases, however, vigorous physical activity can actually be quite helpful. Often healthcare providers recommend "taking it easy" when asked about physical activity recommendations, but if we remain idle for too long it can actually be quite detrimental.
